Why we built MyTeacher
It started with a question Brice heard almost every week as a French teacher in Dubai: “Do you know a good teacher?”

For years, Brice taught French to children across Dubai. He loved the work, but he kept noticing the same thing. Parents were desperate for great teachers, yet finding one meant relying on word-of-mouth, scattered WhatsApp groups and a fair amount of luck.
And even when a name came up, the hard questions remained. Is this person actually qualified? Are they verified? Is it safe to welcome them into my home? Payments were awkward, schedules slipped, and there was no easy way to know who to trust.
The demand was everywhere. The trust was missing. Families deserved a simpler, safer way, and the teachers he knew, brilliant and dedicated, deserved a real platform to be found on.
So Brice set out to build it: a marketplace where every teacher is KHDA-verified, where booking, messaging and payments live in one friendly app, and where parents in Dubai and across the GCC can find the right teacher for their child with confidence.
